About the Role
As an HR Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees and management regarding HR-related inquiries and support needs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and providing excellent customer service to our workforce. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys assisting others with their HR needs.
Responsibilities:
Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions, issues, and requests for assistance. Provide timely and accurate responses and escalate complex inquiries as needed.
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Support employees with enrollment processes and changes to benefits elections.
HRIS Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS system, including personal information, job changes, and benefits enrollment. Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
Employee Records Management: Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, both electronic and paper-based. Process personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating the completion of required training. Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and the collection of company property.
Policy Administration: Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures, including distributing employee handbooks, communicating policy updates, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Employee Relations Support: Provide administrative support in employee relations matters, such as documenting employee complaints, scheduling meetings, and maintaining case files. Assist with investigations as directed by HR management.
HR Projects: Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, performance management processes, and diversity and inclusion programs. Assist with data collection, analysis, and presentation preparation.
General Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence. Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in HR or related administrative roles.
Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
